Stop drowning in YouTube overwhelm, fellow crafters!

Attention crafters: Your beautiful handmade products deserve to be seen, but YouTube feels like yet another overwhelming task on your to-do list!

After helping dozens of makers transform their crafting skills into successful YouTube channels, I've discovered that the secret isn't about fancy equipment or editing skills - it's all about having a simple workflow.

Here's the 6-phase system that's helped my crafting clients go from overwhelmed to consistently posting quality content:

  1. Think in Series, Not Singles: Plan 5 related videos that work together instead of random one-offs. Your "Beginner Quilt Blocks" series will perform better than scattered tutorials.
  2. Organize Everything in One Place: Keep your video ideas, supply lists, and notes organized in a simple system. This saves hours of searching for that perfect reference photo.
  3. Batch Like a Pro Baker: Just like you batch-make holiday ornaments, batch your YouTube work too! Plan multiple videos one day, film several tutorials another day.
  4. Create a Video Recipe: Outline each step before filming. This simple preparation cuts filming time in half.
  5.  Accept Imperfect Filming Days: Natural light, interruptions, and real life happen. Your authenticity is what viewers connect with anyway.
  6. Keep Editing Simple: Clear footage of your hands creating is more valuable than flashy effects. Start with whatever editing software you already have.
